VIVA BOARD is a cement board or cement bonded particle board produced by mixing wooden chips, Portland cement and mineralizing agents thoroughly. It combines the best properties of wood and cement.
It is tough and durable like cement and it is flexible and easy to work with like wood.
Viva Board is made from planted wood and does not contain
any hazardous composition such as asbestos or urea formaldehyde.
It is eco-friendly.

VIVA BOARD is one of the most durable building boards. It combines the strength of cement with the flexibility of wood like no other material.

NOT DELAMINATE
Non-delaminate, due to its one step forming process.
SAFE FROM TERMITE AND FUNGUS
Because of its high alkalinity (PH 12), VIVA BOARD will not be attacked either by wood boring insects or fungi in all climate conditions or at high moisture contents. VIVA BOARD is also termite proof because the wood particles are immersed in cement.
HEAT INSULATION
VIVA BOARD has an excellent heat insulating property due to its wood content. Its K value is less than 0.125 W/m °c , one of the lowest among the external use building boards.
EASY WORKABILITY
VIVA BOARD install by using light-frame construction system that is quick and dry. Most conventional wood working tools can be applied.
ASBESTOS FREE
VIVA BOARD is asbestos free and do not contain any health hazardous contents such as urea formaldehyde found in other board materials.
WEATHER RESISTANCE
VIVA BOARD is weather resistant because the wood particles are mineralized. Thus, it does not degenerate from the effect of moisture, rain, sun, or heat.
LOW WATER ABSORBTION
After 24-hour soaking in the water, VIVA BOARD absorbs the water only 12%. Prevent the water seepage or leakage and paint peeling problems.
FIRE RESISTANCE
VIVA BOARD contains high percentage of cement content permitting it to be highly fire-resistance.
SOUND INSULATING
Acoustic insulation due to VIVA BOARD’s high density.
ECONOMICAL
VIVA BOARD is easy and quick to install. So, it can help saving user’s overhead cost.
ECO-FRIENDLY

Fire Resistance Properties

VIVA Board contains high percentage of cement content permitting it to be highly fire-resistance. VIVA Board passed BS 476 Part 6 and 7 and is classified as virtually non-combustible or class 'O' material and it is also classified as class B-s1, d0 and VIVA HD is Class A2-s1, d0 according to BS EN 13501-1.

VIVA Board partition system also passed the 1-hour, 2-hour and 4-hour fire rating test according to BS 476 Part 22, proving its fire prevention capability.
